William Wordsworth

William Wordsworth was considered as the central figure of the English Romantic Movement. Nature is a prominent recurring theme in many of his poems. And they reflect the change in thought process over the years. His earlier poems show his love for nature and how it gave him peace. But in later poems, he expressed his sadness over not being able to enjoy nature the same way. He knowledge no longer let him see nature only as a form of beauty. He could not just stay ignorant about the power of nature and how small human are compared to that. His poems also have no reference to established religion.
