Lord Byron

Lord Byron was very celebrated for his poetry in his time. Many people had considered him the face of Romantic Era. I don’t know how much I can agree with that. There are some records of his frivolous life style. He was also thought to have an affair with his half-sister which yielded a child as sources say. His character Harold reflects himself. A person who is moody, egoistic, and arrogant, too involved in death, agony, and the hopelessness in life. The Byronic heroes are usually very complex. There is a romanticizing of living in pain, and being the dark character that no one can understand. Byron definitely was self-obsessed to a a good degree to reflect himself so often in his poems.
