Shelley

Shelley was definitely one of the rebel poets. His progressive and political ideas were an inspiration to many readers. Not discussed in this class, but I read his “Prometheus Unbound” for a paper and loved the Greek mythology transformed by the 19th century romantic poet. Shelley did not conform to the norms of the 19th century and he was the one the finest English Romantic Poets of his time. His work was not even published my many publishers in fear of blasphemy.
